A bird protection device (10) comprising a glass pane (11) on which a bird protection element (11), which can be perceived by birds, is arranged. In order to provide a bird protection device (10) which is not disturbing to the human eye, yet which is technically easy to produce, the bird protection element(13) is formed by a grid. The dimensions of the grid and the grid elements (14, 15) thereof are sufficiently small, preferably in the µm range, such that uninterrupted pane transparency is preserved for the human eye. |
