<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage type water heater for securing an optimum amount of hot water corresponding to the status of use by allowing a user's selective setting. <P>SOLUTION: The storage type water heater comprises a hot water storage tank 20, a pump device 23 for taking water out of the lower part of the hot water storage tank 20 and returning it to the upper part, a heating device 24 for heating the water supplied by the pump device 23, a temperature sensor 25 for detecting the temperature of the hot water heated by the heating device, and a control device 28 for controlling the pump device 23 and the heating device 24. The control device 28 has a change-over means 27 for changing over the amount of the hot water boiled up in a midnight power time zone between a setting of boiling up an all amount of hot water in the tank at the maximum temperature and a setting of boiling up a partial amount of hot water in the tank at the minimum temperature in a plurality of stages. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
