PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a solid electrolytic capacitor capable of stabilizing the electric characteristics by taking out large capacitance and preventing short-circuiting. SOLUTION: The solid electrolytic capacitor is constituted so that a separator is superposed on an anode foil, to which an anode lead 1 is connected, to wind and a capacitor element 5, in which a solid electrolytic layer is formed on a dielectric oxide film, is put into a metal case 4 and is sealed. A conductive member 6 is provided on the inner bottom surface of the metal case 4 to take out large capacitance of the capacitor through the anode lead 1 and a cathode lead 2 connected to the metal case 4, whereby many anode foils can be put in since the cathode foil is not necessary. Further, the cathode for taking out the capacitance is the metal case 4 whereby a distance between the anode and the cathode is lengthened, and a large capacitance can be achieved while short-circuiting can be prevented.
