A process involves dipping the hollow body into an electrolyte contained in a bath (4, 6), with an anode (22), a tube (28), which completely fills with electrolyte (4) on dipping the hollow body into the bath, and on raising the hollow body out of the electrolyte an end of the tube sinks under gravity, and the remaining electrolyte is completely drained via tube (28). An independent claim is included for an arrangement for electroplating a hollow body as described above.
