Furniture element, especially a drawer for pulling out of a piece of furniture, comprises at least one flexible strap (182). Preferred Features: The length of the strap can be elastically changed. The strap consists of a flexible, preferably elastic strap belt and at least one, preferably two holding elements (188) for arranging the strap on the furniture element. The furniture element has at least one opening (166) through which the holding element and/or the strap belt are moved. The holding element is removably arranged on the furniture element, preferably without using any tools.
