FLAT DISPLAY DEVICE AND MANUFACTURING METHOD THEREOF CAPABLE OF AVOIDING GENERATION OF CONDUCTIVE PARTICLE DUE TO METAL ELECTRODE

PURPOSE: A flat display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent generation of a conductive particle due to a metal electrode by cutting only a transparent substrate and a transparent electrode by means of a cutter. CONSTITUTION: An EL(Electro-Luminescence) display panel(120) is formed on a transparent substrate(110). A data pad(156) is formed on a lower of the parent substrate. A scan pad(146) is formed on an edge of a side of the transparent substrate. Data pad electrodes(154) are formed on the data pad to be connected to a cathode electrode of the EL display panel. A portion of the respective data pad electrodes is comprised of at least two metal layers. Scan pad electrodes(144) are formed on the scan pad to be coupled to an anode electrode of the EL display panel. A portion of the respective scan pad electrodes is comprised of at least two metal layers. For examining the EL display panel, a data shorting bar(150) is connected to the data pad and a scan shorting bar(140) is coupled to the scan pad.
