SECURITY METHOD OF A FACSIMILE, ESPECIALLY FOR COPING WITH INFORMATION LEAKAGE OF THE FACSIMILE BY STORING INTRINSIC INFORMATION ON OTHER PARTY'S TERMINAL CONNECTED TO THE FACSIMILE

PURPOSE: A security method of a facsimile is provided to detect other party's intrinsic information included in control data and information data received from the other party's terminal and time information received from a timer to store the detected information in a memory, and to start an operation according to a received after/service program, thereby preventing a continuous information leakage. CONSTITUTION: A CPU of a facsimile checks whether communication states between other party's terminal and a user's facsimile are connected(S1). If so, the CPU receives control data and information data from the other party's terminal(S2). The CPU checks whether the other party's intrinsic information is included by analyzing the received control data and the information data(S3). If not, the CPU generates a predetermined warning signal, and releases the connected states(S5). If the other party's intrinsic information is included, the CPU detects time information from a timer(S6), and stores the intrinsic information and the time information in a memory(S7). The CPU operates the facsimile(S8).
