A dispersant for hydraulic compositions which comprises two copolymers each comprising structural units derived from a polyalkylene glycol (meth)acrylate monomer (a) in which the average number of moles of an alkylene oxide added is in a specific range and structural units derived from a specific anionic unsaturated monomer (b), wherein the product of the average number of moles [n] of the alkylene oxide added and the proportion (x (wt.%)) of (b) in an acid form to the sum of (a) and (b) in each copolymer satisfies a specific relationship.
