PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an abnormal number of pulse signals from being outputted when a negative pressure is impressed on a pressure sensor device. SOLUTION: This pressure sensor device 11 is structured so that a pressure detection signal in analog form from a pressure sensor circuit 2 is converted into digital data by an A/D conversion circuit 4 and corrected by a corrective calculation circuit 5, and then, pulse signals the number of which corresponding to the data value of the digital data are outputted from a pulse signal output circuit 17. When the most significant bit in the digital data is 1, the output circuit 17 is kept not to output any pulse signals. In this structure, impression of a negative pressure nullifies the pulse number of outputted pulse signals, eliminating a sense of incongruity. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
