<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an image forming system in which the problems of a conventional copy machine, i.e. degradation of image quality incident to copying of an image and inclination of a copied image, are avoided and the labor of a user for retrieving the data to be copied is saved. <P>SOLUTION: As an image corresponding to print data is printed on a print sheet, ID information held at the RFID of the print sheet is detected and the print data is recorded in a data base file 21 in correspondence with the ID information. The ID information of the same or a different print sheet is detected at a timing independent from that of the image forming operation and the print data corresponding to that ID information is retrieved from the data base file 21.
