<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide coating agent composition for inkjet recording sheet, which is excellent in a binding force with respect to an inorganic filler such as silica, has the high surface strength of an ink receiving layer and also is excellent in the absorption of an inkjet recording ink and printing properties, and the inkjet recording sheet. <P>SOLUTION: This coating agent composition comprises an emulsion [I], which is obtained through the polmerization of 30-300 pts. wt. of a (meth) acrylic monomer (B) in aqueous medium in the presence of 100 pts. wt. of polyvinyl alcohol based resin (A) under the condition that the viscosity at the solid density in the emulsion [I] of 17 wt.% is set to be at least 3,000 mPa s at 25°C. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
