PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a software arrangement management device making it possible to manage the results of software work according to design information. SOLUTION: A data structure for expressing a virtual folder associated with the design information is provided in order to ensure that a software arrangement is managed without causing a mismatch between versions of the results changed. Further, a virtual folder management part for managing the virtual folder is provided within a storage device, whereby data on design documents and source programs to be changed are accessed through the virtual folder to carry out the operation of changing them.
