Mulching machine for the ground between lines of grapevines has adjustable width rotary cutters

The ground of tracks formed between rows of grape vines are cut and mulched by a unit pulled by a tractor. The unit has a pair of rotary cutting blades [14] with drives [16,18] mounted on carriages [4,6] that can be laterally adjusted to suit the width of the track. Hydraulic actuators [10,12] provide the adjustment. Contact plates [20] with sensors control the adjustment.
