ON-VEHICLE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM, ON-VEHICLE COMMUNICATION METHOD, CONNECTION APPARATUS, AND WAVEFORM CORRECTION APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct the waveform distortions of a communicated signal as circumstances demand.

SOLUTION: A gateway apparatus 10 interconnects a body system LAN 2 having on-vehicle apparatuses 4 to 6 and an information system LAN 3 having on-vehicle apparatuses 7 to 9 which are respectively provided with waveform correction apparatuses 21 to 23. The ECUs 4a to 6a of the respective on-vehicle apparatuses 4 to 6 transmit a notice signal to the gateway apparatus 10 when power switches are turned ON/OFF, and the gateway apparatus 10 transmits a training signal to the waveform correction apparatuses 21 to 23 when the notice signal is received. The waveform correction apparatuses 21 to 23 particularize a correction coefficient through the comparison between the training signal and a comparison signal stored in themselves, and correct the waveform distortions of signals communicated among the on-vehicle apparatuses 7 to 9 by using the particularized correction coefficient.
