PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing device in which a nip is formed by a fixing roller laid inside a fixing belt and a fixing member, a non-pressurized nip distance is minimized by making the fixing roller in contact with the fixing member, a stable nip pressure is secured to prevent occurrence of abnormal image such as image deviation caused by the circumferential velocity difference between the fixing belt and a pressure roller, and a starting up time is short. SOLUTION: In the fixing device 1 provided with: an endless belt 2; the fixing roller 3 in contact with the belt 2 from the inside; the fixing member 4 arranged on the upstream side of the fixing roller 3; the pressure roller 6 positioned outside the belt 2 and coming into press contact with the fixing roller 3 and the fixing member 4 through the belt 2 to form the nip; and a heating means 7 for heating the belt 2, the fixing roller 3 and the fixing member 4 are arranged in contact with each other.
