PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens system of a small-sized camera which can surely mesh a gear for transmitting the driving force from a driving source and a long gear having a long face width. SOLUTION: The lens system of the camera has an idle gear 33 which transmits the driving force from the driving source, a gear case 32 which supports the idle gear 33, the long gear 35 which gears with the idle gear 33, has the long face width and is provided with a gear shaft hole 35c composed of a pivotal hole 35e and a step-shaped hole section 35d. The lens system is equipped with a stationary frame 16 which rotatably supports one end side of the long gear 35, a screw 34 which is screwed through the gear case 32 into a step-shaped part 16m, and a cam frame 17 which is adapted to be advanced and retreated while rotating by gearing with a part of the long face width of the long gear 35 by a gear 17b.
