PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a dryer capable of efficiently drying water containing substance such as cake without polluting generated powder. SOLUTION: A drying tank 1 having a dual wall structure of a container 2 and a jacket 3 can be heated and reversed/oscillated by a drive shaft 4. A discharge pipe 16 for taking in gas generated inside the drying tank 1 in decompression (vacuum) state is connected to a closing lid 21 for supplying cake provided to the drying tank 1 and can be rewound to a reel 17 provided to the drive shaft 4. A suction pipe 18 for vacuum-sucking the generated powder to outside and a pipe 19 for pressing in air and gas inside the drying tank 1 are connected to the drying tank 1, and the oscillating width and oscillating speed of the drying tank 1 can be changed. The dryer is constructed so as to prevent droplet generated inside the discharge pipe from reversely flowing into the drying tank 1. By inclining the drying tank 1, sucking and discharging of the powder and the cleaning fluid are facilitated. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI
