<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driving IC for improving electrical reliability and a display device having such a driving IC. <P>SOLUTION: In the driving IC and the display device equipped with the same, bumps are arrayed on the bottom surface of the driving IC in a plurality of arrays along the edge of the driving IC, and bumps arrayed in mutually different arrays are arranged in an array at right angles to their array direction.
