<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a femur forming apparatus for a cement-free grafting of a prosthesis with a press fitting effect. <P>SOLUTION: A femoral region 1 comprises a distal part, a proximal part and a middle region whose heights differ depending on a morphotype and degree of injury of the bone. The forming apparatus comprises an adjustable filing part 10, a middle element 12 forming a proximal gauge or the like. Each of the first and second proximal parts is provided as a plurality of height increments H. The distal part is provided with a joint means 11 jointed at a proximal part 10B selected depending on a morphotype and degree of indentation of a distal part 10A in relation to at least one distal part 10A. The middle element 12 is provided on the distal part 10A of the filing part 10. The filing part 10 is operated and used for measuring the degree of indentation with a calibrated scale 13. The middle element 12 determines a precise length of the prosthesis to be inserted necessary to form the femur 1 and a required size of the proximal part 10B of the filing part 10. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
