PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which is equipped with a bearing mechanism where a pre-load is given surely between an inner/outer ring and a rolling element, even at a higher temperature rise. SOLUTION: This motor 10 is equipped with a shaft 2 which is fixed to a base 1, first and second bearings 3 and 4 which have an inner ring, a rolling element, and an outer ring, respectively, and inner rings of which are fixed to the shaft 2 in the axial direction at an interval, and a hub where a recoding disk is installed and also which holds the outer ring of the bearing. In this motor 10, the hub 8 is equipped with a hub body 8a which holds the outer ring of the first bearing, and a sleeve 5 whose one end is fixed to the hub body and whose other end holds the outer ring of the second bearing. For example, the sleeve 5 is composed of a spacer 5c which is interposed between the outer rings, an engaging part 5b which extends to a free end side from the spacer 5c and engages with the outside of the outer ring of the second bearing, and a ring 9 which engages with the outside of the second bearing. The heat expansion coefficientαof the engaging part 5b is larger than the heat expansion coefficientβof the shaft 2 and the coefficient of the thermal expansionγof the ring 9.
