<p>An insert [20] is deployed in an applicable paint bucket [22] to provide for rolling a paint roller [24] along the insert [20] to uniformly distribute a desired quantity of paint [26] from the paint bucket [22] onto the paint roller [24]. Applicable paint buckets [22] have structures [36 and 38] which provide for a secure placement of the insert [20] where the insert [20] remains in a proper operational orientation during a painting session. The insert [20] has a paint contact area [44] with an upper portion [48] thereof retained at an angular orientation somewhat offset from vertical when installed in the applicable paint bucket [22]. In the preferred embodiment the insert [20] has securement structures [80 and 82] which extend outward on opposing sides of the paint contact area [44] at the upper extent [78].</p> |
