PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow instant installation of a tripod at a height convenient for a surveying person, and to allow improvement to preclude the possibility of crashing of a vehicle in the survey along a road at night. SOLUTION: A tripod 1 is provided with a scale 2 to determine the height convenient to be used by the person at a look, and a reflecting tape and a fluorescent paint 3 applied thereon which is helpful in confirming the position of a surveying machine at night.
