<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for use in disinfection capable of respectively performing the disinfection using an electronic oven and disinfection using a chemical liquid. <P>SOLUTION: The container 10 for use in disinfection comprises a case body 11 having a housing space and is constituted so as to be selectively used in a mounted state and an erected state. In the mounted state, the case body is formed so that its dimension in the width direction X of a door part 20 is slightly longer than that in the depth direction Y of the door part and almost square in its imaginary horizontal cross section, and has grasping parts 40 exposed to its left and right side wall parts, a tray body 30 moved in the depth direction Y and a drain hole 70 provided at a place becoming almost downward in the erected state at a position above the tray body so as to be opened and closed by an on-off member 50.
