PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rolling bearing capable of preventing increase of machining costs and development of cracking or the like due to machining of a seal installation groove, and maintaining favorable lubrication for a long period under corrosion environments. SOLUTION: A circular groove 2a having an arc-shaped cross section is formed in either an outer circumferential surface 1x of an inner ring 1 positioned axially outward of a retainer 4 or an inner circumferential surface 2x of an outer ring 2, and a seal member 5 of resin is engaged and fixed in the circular groove 2a. In this constitution, grease or the like filled in circular space in a bearing can be securely sealed. The circular groove 2a can be relatively easily machined in a ceramic member that is difficult to machine. Generation of cracking or the like starting from the circular groove 2a can be prevented.
