<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording method for suppressing bleeding and solving the problems of ink-permeation to backside of a recording medium without deteriorating fixation property and color development. <P>SOLUTION: The method carries out recording by ejecting pigment ink and a reaction solution onto the recording medium. The method includes a step of ejecting, onto the reaction solution, the ink having surface tension lower than that of the solution ejected on the upper surface of the recording medium, and a step of forming a film-aggregate at the boundary phase where the reaction solution and the pigment ink come in contact with each other. The ejection condition of the reaction solution satisfies the equation 1 when the ejection volume of the reaction solution is represented by Vd, the recording resolution in the relative scanning direction is represented by Rx, the recording resolution in the nozzle-alignment direction is represented by Ry, and the recording duty of the reaction solution is represented by duty. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
