<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner capable of inhibiting the propagation of mold and bacteria by emitting and releasing a volatile agent with desired concentration to be filled and retained inside of an indoor machine having high air-tightness to some degree. <P>SOLUTION: In this air conditioner, an openable/closable mechanism part, is mounted on a suction grille, and a volatile agent releasing member is mounted near a heat exchanger in the indoor machine having at least the suction grille, the heat exchanger for heat-exchanging the air sucked from the suction grille, and an indoor fan and a blowout grille for blowing out the air of which a temperature is adjusted by the heat exchanger, into a room. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
