<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition having high sensitivity and favorable storage stability (raw preservability) and useful as a photosensitive layer of a negative lithographic printing original plate, and to provide a lithographic printing original plate for providing a negative lithographic printing original plate which makes high-sensitivity recording with IR laser possible and has excellent storage stability (raw preservability) and plate wear. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains an IR absorbent, a sulfonium salt polymerization initiator, a polymerizable compound having a urethane skeleton, and a binder polymer.
