PREFORM EQUIPPED WITH EXTENDED SECTION AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a preform equipped with an extended section that is capable of forming a thin portion such as a hinge portion and the like between the preform and the extended section as well as their manufacturing methods without inhibiting an inflow of resins from one side to another of the preform and the extended section when molded by injection.

SOLUTION: The preform equipped with the extended section is an extended section 30 integrally formed at a tip of the preform 10 through the thin portion 20 and is characterized in that a width direction of the thin portion 20 is partially provided with a thicker portion 40 that links the extended section 30 and the preform 10. The method of manufacturing the preform equipped with the extended section is characterized in that a gate portion of the thin portion 120 is partially provided with a gate of the thicker portion 140 with a space larger than that of the gate of the thin portion 120 thereby forming a thick portion 40 in part of the thin portion 20.
