<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a motor-operated power steering apparatus in which heat resistant impact resistance in an electric connector of a controller is improved and which has high reliability, and to provide a method for manufacturing the same. <P>SOLUTION: The motor operated power steering apparatus includes a motor 9 for outputting the assist torque of steering, a control means 26 carried in the motor 9 to control the motor 9 and having a control substrate 29 for mounting at least a control circuit 5, a power substrate 27 for mounting a power component and an I/O connector 35, and a connecting terminal 34 for connecting the power substrate 27 and the connector 35 in the control means 26.
