<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method for inorganic powder, and to provide coated inorganic particles produced thereby. <P>SOLUTION: The coating method for inorganic powder includes a stage where inorganic powder is mixed with water, an alcoholic solution of an alcohol-soluble metal salt and an alcoholic solution of an amine compound, and the mixture is stirred, so that the surface of the inorganic powder is coated with metal hydroxide produced from the alcoholic soluble metal salt. Next, the inorganic powder is heat-treated, so that the metal hydroxide is made into metal oxide. The metal oxide-coated inorganic powder produced by the method is independently present in a non-flocculated state each other, further, the metal oxide coating layer is applied only to the surface of each inorganic powder in a uniform thickness, and is not crystallized among each inorganic powder. Thus, the quality and yield of MLCC (Multi Layer Ceramic Capacitor) can be improved by forming a nickel electrode layer using the titanium oxide-coated nickel particles produced by the invention. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
