<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laminated electrochemical element which has high volumetric efficiency, a well-balanced simple structure, high reliability and a good current collective property, and can be efficiently manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: In an electrochemical element having an electrode plate group 10 in which a plurality of first and second electrodes 15a, 15b are alternately laminated via separators 16, each first electrode 15a is composed of a first collector sheet 13a having conductive and isolating portions on both surfaces and a first electrode mixture layer 14a carried thereby, and each second electrode 15b is composed of a second collector sheet 13b having conductive and insulating portions on both surfaces and a second electrode mixture layer 14b carried thereby. The collector sheets of the outermost two electrodes have the conductive and isolating portions on the both surfaces, respectively, but carry the electrode mixture layers 14a, 14b only on the conductive portions opposed to the inner electrodes, respectively, the collector sheets of the inner electrodes carry the electrode mixture layers on the conductive portions on the both surfaces, respectively, and the conductive portions of the first and second current collector sheets are connected to a first and a second terminals 17a, b on a first and a second side surfaces of the plate group 10, respectively. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
