<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation imaging apparatus and a radiation imaging system, which automatically adjusts the quantity of incident radiation, suppressing the attenuation of radiation which occurs before detection. <P>SOLUTION: Imaging radiation detection pixels in m lines and n columns are divided into 72 pixel regions, for example, and imaging radiation detection pixels, belonging to a single pixel region 4, are connected mutually to an identical reading TCP and an identical driving TCP. In three regions (radiation detection regions for AEC), for example, from among the seventy-two pixel regions 4, two or more radiation detection pixels for AEC are arranged. The radiation detection pixels for AEC are provided with TFT type sensors. By causing each reading TCP to have preparatory wiring conductors for the radiation detection pixels for AEC at its both side ends, and connecting each preparatory wiring conductor to a specified circuit inside a reader 2 beforehand, the radiation detection pixels for AEC are connected to the specified circuit and an AEC circuit is made to operate. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
