PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast receiving apparatus and a broadcast receiving method with a simple configuration which efficiently receive broadcast radio waves from a satellite without interference. SOLUTION: This apparatus is provided with first and second antennas 20a, 20b each receiving a satellite broadcast, a main body 15 for supporting the first and second antennas 20a, 20b, and a display unit 18 supported by the main body 15 so that it can be opened and closed.
