PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyacrylonitrile-based oxidized fiber spun yarn in which occurrences of end breakages and fluff in woven fabric processing and in the carbonization process of woven fabric are controlled and high-quality spun yarn woven fabric and carbon fiber spun yarn woven fabric are obtained. SOLUTION: The polyacrylonitrile-based oxidized fiber spun yarn has 0.05-0.30 mass% of the amount of paraffin-based wax attached and≥0.5 g/dtex tenacity.
