<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a charging system that can sufficiently charge a secondary battery, in an electric vehicle that comprises a fuel battery and the secondary battery capable of being charged from the fuel battery, and is constituted such that an electric motor is driven by power fed from at least either the fuel battery or the secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The electric vehicle 1 is constituted such that a fuel battery control unit 42 does not stop the drive of the fuel battery 20 until the charging amount of the secondary battery 30 is determined to have reached a prescribed value at a charging amount determination part 44, even after a stop command (off-signal) of the electric motor 10 is inputted to an input part 41.
