<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an expense adjusting method and system for accurately and quickly executing the separating operation of public expenses and private expenses in the fare adjustment of expenses generated by using a cooperate card, and for improving the efficiency of an expense adjusting task. <P>SOLUTION: Card use data A are acquired from a credit company 12 through a network 14 outside cooperation by data transmitting/receiving terminal equipment 16. The card use data A stored in the data transmitting/receiving terminal equipment 16 are temporarily stored in a removable storage device 40, and the card use data A stored in the removable storage device 40 are registered in a storage means 42 of a data processor 26.
