摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing developer storing cells of high strength storing an image display medium, whose productivity is satisfactory. SOLUTION: The image display medium is provided with substrates 11 and 12, partition walls 13 between the substrates providing the developer storing cells 14 between the substrates and a dry process developer DL stored in the cells 14. The substrate 11 having the partition walls 13 and the cells 14 as the image observing side substrate 11 and the opposite side substrate 12 are prepared, an adhesive material 15 is disposed on the top surfaces of the partition walls 13, then the developer DL is stored in the cells 14 and then the opposite side substrate 12 is stuck to the substrate 11 by using the adhesive material 15. A material capable of showing non-tackiness to the developer DL is adopted as the adhesion material 15, a developer storing step is performed in a state in which the adhesive material 15 shows the non-tackiness and a substrate sticking step is performed in the state in which the adhesive material 15 develops an adhesive property.
