PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR valve capable of reducing the number of parts, pressure loss of the valve, and leak from a seat, facilitating assembly work, corresponding to mechanical failure such as fixation of a motor, and controlling reflux amount of exhaust gas steplessly. SOLUTION: This EGR valve 1 has a main cylinder chamber 19 formed in a body 12 on a valve rod 7 side of a valve box 2, a main piston 21 fitted slidably in the main cylinder chamber 19 in the direction of shaft axis, a sub-cylinder chamber 23 formed on an extension line of a valve rod 7 of the main piston 21, a sub-piston 24 fitted slidably into the sub-cylinder chamber 23 in the direction of shaft axis to engage with the valve rod 7, a communicating hole 26 communicating the main cylinder chamber 19 with the sub-cylinder chamber 23, a supply and discharge passage 28 communicated with the main cylinder chamber 19 to supply and discharge fluid, and an operation rod 35 engaging with the main piston 21 and reciprocated in the axial direction by rotation of a motor 33.
