PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exclude a primary factor that it is necessary to allow a worker to always perform work on the side of a paper container manufacturing apparatus during the operation of the apparatus to obstruct the enhancement of the productivity of a paper container and the reduction of a production cost because a cylindrical body, which is obtained by preliminary molding a paper piece constituting the side wall part of the paper container into a cylindrical shape, and a face element are prepared in the paper container manufacturing apparatus to be supplied into the apparatus manually. SOLUTION: The paper container manufacturing apparatus 1 has a cylindrical body molding process 2 for applying an adhesive to one side end part of each of the fan-shaped paper pieces 5 housed in a paper piece housing part 10 in a laminated state and bonding both side end parts of each of the fan-shaped paper pieces to mold the cylindrical body 7 and a paper container molding process 3 for fixing the cylindrical body to a rotary disc 16 to curl either one of upper and lower ends or both upper and lower ends of the cylindrical body and bonding the face element 6 to the bottom part of the cylindrical body to mold the paper container 8 to recover the same in a paper container recovering part 23.
