<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide: a lubricating oil composition improved in solubility and rustproofness, and capable of reducing friction, by using a specified amine compound together with a specified narrow-cut base oil used for an industrial lubricating oil; and a lubricating oil composition excellent in thermal oxidation stability, lubricating properties, water resistance and filtration characteristics from the viewpoints of both safety of a hydraulic oil, a machine tool oil, a gear oil, a compressor oil, a turbine oil, a bearing oil, a grease, etc., and service performance of a lubricating oil. <P>SOLUTION: The lubricating oil composition is characterized in that it has a kinematic viscosity at 40°C of 25-53 cSt, a viscosity index of 130 to 150, a density at 15°C of 0.80-0.84 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and a flash point of 252°C or higher and that it comprises one compounded with a primary amine having an 8-20C tertiary alkyl group represented by general formula (1) (wherein x, y and z are each an integer of 1 to 17, provided that x+y+z is an integer of 7 to 19). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
