<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure timing synchronization in a short period of time in a receiver which receives the prescribed number of continuous synchronous burst frames transmitted from a transmitting side and the prescribed number of continuous communication channel frames that follow the synchronous burst frames. <P>SOLUTION: A synchronous burst frame includes a preamble signal, and a communication channel frame includes a synchronous word signal. Preamble signal timing information acquiring means 6 to 13 perform processing which acquires timing information for securing timing synchronization on the basis of a preamble signal included in a received frame, and synchronous word signal timing information acquiring means 14 to 16 perform processing which acquires timing information for securing timing synchronization on the basis of a synchronous word signal included in the received frame. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI |
