<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an IP multicast authentication method which enables authentication of whether a contract is made, i.e. whether IP multicasting can be received, to manage a group list on the initiative of an IP network side, and also to provide an IP multicast authentication system using the same. <P>SOLUTION: An IP multicast authentication system for realizing the IP multicast authentication method is equipped with a user authentication server 3 equipped with the user authentication method, a customer data server 4 equipped with a user data managing means, a router control server 1 equipped with a router control means, a user accommodation router 2, and a group managing server 6 equipped with a group managing means at need. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
