<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a substrate for optoelectronic device, an optoelectronic device and an electronic appliance in which llight does not interfere, occurrence of iridescence is evaded and a display quality is enhanced. <P>SOLUTION: Since transmission parts 122 are disposed on regions corresponding to respective dots 121 in an irregular arrangement in a liquid crystal device 101, even when scattering patterns of a reflection layer 113 are regularly arranged, in a display using reflected light the display practically using light reflected from the reflection layer 113 with irregularly arranged scattering patterns in the substrate surface is produced and a display not interfered by the reflected light and having no occurrence of iridescence becomes available. Also a display without color irregularity is produced because areas of the transmission parts 122 corresponding to the respective dots are equal to one another.
