The bearing structure (1) has two of its front bearers (3) in upsilon form, and connected to the pedal-mechanism cross-bearer (6). By this means, the forces from the front structure in a front-end collision are transferred virtually uniformly onto the floor bearing structure and rear bearing structure. The side of the front bearers (3) facing the outside of the vehicle form the wheel housing bearer.
