Method for producing a door handle for vehicles

Production of hollow car door handles comprises inserting a slide (30) in the cavity of an injection mold which produces the tubular grip. A second slide (40) is inserted below this to limit flow of molding material and direct it into a section (24) of the cavity which produces the latch. The first slide has a connecting bar (33) and a retaining bar (35) at the inner end and the second slide has a hook (44) which engages between them. A branched section (23) of the cavity at the outer end produces a mounting for the handle.
