PURPOSE: A fabrication method of an LCD device is provided to enable a pixel electrode to magnetically and fully interface with a data line, thereby minimizing parasite capacitance between the data line and the pixel electrode and always maintaining a certain value. CONSTITUTION: A gate metal is deposited on a substrate(10), and a gate electrode(20) and a gate line are formed. The gate electrode(20) is oxidized to form a bipolar oxide film(30). A semiconductor layer(50) is formed by patterning amorphous silicon and n+ amorphous silicon. A contact hole is formed by removing an insulating film(40) of a gate pad portion formed on top of the gate line. A data line, a source electrode(60), and a drain electrode(70) are formed with conductive materials. After depositing a passivation film(80), a contact hole is formed to expose a portion of the drain electrode(70) by pattering the deposited passivation film(80). A pixel electrode(90) is formed to be electrically connected with the drain electrode(70) by pattering a deposited ITO film.
