PURPOSE: A projector is provided to solve problems of deteriorating red color in one plate optical system and three plates optical system and to have a wider color coordination in a projecting image. CONSTITUTION: A projector comprises a light source(210) for generating a light, a polarization controller(220) for polarizing the light entered from the light source in one direction, an optical path change device(230) for changing a passing path entered from the polarization controller, a color drum(240) for transmitting magenta and yellow only and scrolling the light, a notch filter(245) for adjusting a white balance, a first and a second LCD panels for reflecting selectively the incident light according to an image signal, a light composition unit(260) for compositing a green and blue colors or red and green colors reflected from the first and the second LCD panels and realizing a color image, and a projecting lens for transmitting the image into a screen.
