摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A wireless personal area network having rotation of a frequency hopping sequence is provided to reduce degradation of performance such as a data throughput and access delay by employing a different hopping sequence for a different superframe. CONSTITUTION: Piconets(102,114) have an ad hoc topology, namely, an arbitrary combination of adjacent devices. Devices(104,106,108,110,112) are members of the piconet(102) and devices(116,118,120) are members of the piconet(114). All or some of devices, which can participate in piconet communication, can operate as a PNC(Piconet Coordinator). The device(108) operates as a PNC for the piconet(102), while the device(118) operates as a PNC for the piconet(114). The PNC devices(108,118) broadcast a beacon frame to make communication of piconet members smooth. In one piconet, devices can be RF-interfered in a different piconet.</p>
