METHOD OF CALCULATING POROSITY OF VENTILATION DUCT AIR INLET SYSTEM FOR USE IN CATTLE SHED ENABLING CONTINUOUS AIR FLOW RATE

PURPOSE: A method of calculating porosity of a ventilation duct air inlet system for use in a cattle shed is provided to achieve continuous air flow rate, thereby preventing stagnation of air. CONSTITUTION: The method of calculating porosity of a ventilation duct air inlet system comprises the steps of calculating the number of ducts by dividing the width of a cattle shed by an effective distance between the ducts, dividing the length of the cattle shed by A, B, C and D percents, and calculating the number of desired pores relative to the size of the duct using a specific formula. According to an obtained desired value, the pores are drilled to the ducts.
