The machine comprises transport means (14,16,18) for transporting the sheets in a transport direction (F) across a treatment zone (T). It has treatment means comprising a tool (53,53',63) and a counter-tool (56,56') mounted on a first and second support shafts (52,54,62,54'). The treatment means are for cutting or transversely folding the sheets in the transport direction. The counter-tool is driven at a tangential speed (V54,V54') greater than that (V52, V62) of the tool. An Independent claim is included for a treatment method. |
